writting vs talking

When it comes to formal communication, I've got a strong preference in writting over talking. I can't remember a single experience when I could figure out that speaking out my thoughts would convey them in a better way than writting them out.

Taking a overview of how human communication methods changed, oral communication is in fact the oldest form of communication that still holds a major social role as it did all the way back.

Writting ideas makes it easier to correct or evolve them. Documents can be versioned, portions can be erased and rewritten and phrases can be rearranged. On a verbal conversation, things can't just be modelled that easy, even when recording. Mashing up speaks from different days, for example, causes a strange feeling of discontinuity, because tones are more concret and less flexible than written words, in the sense a word or phrase can be read by different ways, depending on the textual context and also on the subjectiveness of the reader. Spoken words are less prone to interpretation because they already carry the emotion and emphasis of the person who speks.

Literature show that words are amazing at conveying feelings.
